The search engine giant Google has rolled out an update to its mobile search result pages UI.
Google announced that they have started replacing the existing URL in the search result snippet in mobile search with the site’s real world name and breadcrumb path.
The search giant said that this new change is being made live in mobile search starting in USA but will be rolling out worldwide gradually.
The new update displays a website’s real world name and its breadcrumb path instead of pages URLs in the search result snippet. According to Google, this new feature was being tested at Google for a few years now.
Google said they are also allowing webmasters to implement markup for this change in the Webmasters tool where they can feed the data for website’s real-world name and breadcrumb path to Google to use for search result query.
